Group therapy can be a powerful resource for individuals facing emotional, psychological, or interpersonal challenges. It offers a supportive and structured space where people can connect, share experiences, and grow together. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, loneliness, or relationship struggles, group therapy provides a sense of community and mutual understanding that can be deeply healing.
Here are some groups of individuals who may benefit most from our affordable group therapy sessions:
- Individuals with Anxiety or Depression
- Group therapy offers a non-judgmental environment where participants can openly discuss their experiences. Connecting with others facing similar challenges helps reduce feelings of isolation, fosters empathy, and promotes the development of practical coping strategies.
- People Experiencing Relationship or Family Issues
- Whether you're dealing with romantic conflicts, family dynamics, or difficulties in friendships, group therapy offers a space to reflect, gain perspective, and practice healthier communication skills by observing and interacting with others.
- Those Struggling with Loneliness or Social Isolation
- Feeling disconnected is a common but painful experience. Group therapy helps individuals build meaningful connections, combat loneliness, and experience a sense of belonging through shared understanding and support.
- Individuals Managing Anger or Emotional Regulation
- Psychoeducational group therapy can be especially effective for those working on anger management or emotional control. It provides tools, guidance, and peer support, allowing individuals to learn from others while practicing self-regulation in a safe, guided setting.
- Anyone Seeking Affordable Mental Health Support
- Group therapy is a cost-effective alternative to individual counselling, offering many of the same benefits in a collaborative format. It allows participants to receive therapeutic support while connecting with others on a similar journey.

My group therapy sessions are designed to provide professional, high-quality support at accessible and affordable rates. Each group is facilitated by trained and experienced mental health professionals, ensuring a safe and constructive space for healing and growth.
Sessions typically run for 60 to 90 minutes and are held weekly or more frequently, depending on the group’s focus and needs.
Participants usually sit together in a circle, creating an atmosphere of equality, connection, and mutual respect.
A typical session might begin with a brief check-in or simply unfold with a participant sharing their current thoughts or experiences. From there, the conversation is guided by the group’s purpose. Some groups encourage open sharing and emotional expression, while others may be more structured, focusing on the development of specific coping tools or interpersonal skills.
Regardless of the format, group therapy offers a powerful opportunity to:
- Share experiences and feel truly heard
- Learn from others’ insights and perspectives
- Practice new skills in a safe environment
- Receive encouragement, feedback, and support
Of course, every group is unique, but the goal remains the same: to foster healing, resilience, and personal growth within a supportive community.

At REHvolution Services, we offer two distinct types of group therapy sessions to support a wide range of personal goals and therapeutic needs: Analytic Groups and Psychoeducational Groups.
Analytic Groups – £12.00 per Person / per weekly session
These long-term therapy groups focus on exploring interpersonal relationships, emotional dynamics, and the unconscious patterns that shape our lives. Sessions are rooted in open, free-flowing conversation, where members are encouraged to reflect on their experiences, behaviours, and interactions. Over time, participants gain meaningful insight into themselves and others, fostering personal growth and emotional awareness.
Psychoeducational Groups – £30.00 per person / per weekly session
These structured, short-term groups focus on specific themes—such as our 10-week Anger Solutions Programme. Each session offers guidance, practical tools, and strategies to help participants manage and overcome particular challenges. An initial assessment is required prior to joining to ensure the group is the right fit for your needs.
